The Jacksonville Veterinary Medical Society is a group of more than 300 veterinarians from Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding areas. Incorporated in the mid-1970’s, the Society provides members with opportunities for fellowship, philanthropy, representation of our profession and promotion of animal welfare.
Our mission is to provide a leadership role in the veterinary profession in North Florida and South Georgia, advocate animal welfare and public health, and promote fellowship among veterinarians.

PHILANTHROPY
The JVMS supports animal related and non-animal related local causes from helping our homeless to assisting sick children to supporting our UF Veterinary College.
